this is definitely not for spreading frosting etc.-it’s wonderful for picking up stuff in one lift though-very strong, wide and sturdy. i ordered a separate offset spatula but i’m happy i also ordered this one-came in useful for lifting fish, big sandwiches, barbeque stuff etc.

I didn’t realize how large this thing was. It’s not something you can use in a pan, but on a grill it would be perfect. It’s a substantial solid piece that feels nice in your hand and can easily flip a large piece of meat or whatever in one stroke.

Like another review indicated, the back of mine pitted after the first use and wash. I’d rather not have pieces of metal in my food, so it is in the trash. $9 is just too expensive for a one-use disposable turner.

I don’t know if chipping is the right word, but on the back of this spatula, the metal is rubbing away and it is dark gray underneath. I like the size of this spatula, but is metal coming off in my food now? I have not used it that many times before this started happening. Needless to say, I won’t be using it anymore. Would not recommend this item.
